Kelley DeFilippis is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and Menopause Specialist with over 25 years of experience in healthcare, specializing in perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause care.

Kelley earned her Master’s degree in Nursing from Wheeling Jesuit University and has completed advanced training through The Menopause Society, Louise Newson Confidence in Hormones, and Heather Hirsch Academy. She is a member of the Menopause Society, The International Menopause Society, and ISSWSH (The international Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health).

Over the past five years, she has immersed herself in menopause research and evidence-based hormone therapy, and for the last several years she has focused her clinical practice exclusively on caring for women in midlife. She has treated thousands of women experiencing the physical, emotional, and cognitive changes associated with hormonal transitions.

Like many clinicians, Kelley’s path to specialization was deeply personal. Despite years of formal medical training, she found that perimenopause and menopause were barely addressed in traditional education.

It was through her own experience with symptoms—and the realization that countless women were being dismissed, misinformed, or left untreated—that she committed herself to becoming a trusted expert and advocate in this space.

At The Menopause Wellness Center, Kelley provides individualized, evidence-based care using FDA-approved and compounded hormone therapy when appropriate, alongside comprehensive education and prevention-focused strategies. Her work centers not only on symptom relief—such as hot flashes, sleep disruption, mood changes, brain fog, and weight changes—but also on long-term health, including cardiovascular disease prevention, bone health, metabolic health, optimizing health to reduce the risk of chronic disease as women age.

What truly distinguishes Kelley’s approach is her belief that women deserve to be heard, validated, and empowered. She takes the time to listen, educate, and partner with her patients, ensuring they fully understand what is happening in their bodies and the options available to them. Her care is compassionate, thorough, and rooted in science—not trends or fear-based messaging.

Through The Menopause Wellness Center, Kelley is changing the narrative around perimenopause and menopause. Her mission is to bridge the gap between research and real-life care, helping women move through midlife with clarity, confidence, and vitality. She believes menopause is not the end of health or identity—but the beginning of a powerful new chapter when women are properly informed, supported, and treated.
